Education:
Loyola University School of Law, J.D.
University of Louisiana, B.A.

Biography:

Born and raised in Cut Off, Louisiana, or “down the bayou” as they like to call it, Tommy graduated from South Lafourche High School in Galliano, LA, before going on to college at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, LA. While at UL, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity, Student Government Association (SGA), and the Student Orientation Staff (SOS). After earning his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Pre-Law, he then decided to attend law school at the Loyola University College of Law, where he earned his juris doctorate in the civil law division. Tommy was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in December of 2014.

Faced with a horrible job market and not wanting to clerk upon graduation, Tommy bit the bullet and started his own solo practice, The Law Office of Tommy J. Badeaux, in the summer of 2015. Here he participated in all aspects of the general practice, focusing mainly in the areas of Personal Injury & Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) claims. Having endured his own catastrophic injuries from a serious car crash only years ago, Tommy knows first-hand how difficult and stressful dealing with every situation involving a car wreck can be. He understands exactly what his clients are going through because he has been there himself.  Tommy only increased his experience and litigation skills by joining up with The Law Offices of Frank J. D'Amico, Jr. in March of 2017.  Here he handled a variety of cases ranging from everyday car wrecks to

complex workers' comp disputes and even Federal Multi-District Litigation class action suits until May of 2021.  Tommy is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of personal injury law and has worked tirelessly to get his clients millions of dollars in rightful compensation during his short time as a practicing attorney.  He prides himself on representing normal everyday citizens who are harmed or critically injured due to the fault of another.  Tommy is willing to fight for the "little guy" against big insurance companies and stand up to wealthy business owners who aim to treat their injured employees unfairly.

Tommy has now lived in the New Orleans area for over a decade and has embraced the city as his home along with his beautiful wife, Amanda, and their three sons, Tommy Jr., Brody, and Cash.  Tommy is a diehard sports fan, avid UNC basketball supporter, and longtime season ticket holder for both the Saints and Pelicans. When not in the office, he thoroughly enjoys 80s music, collecting sneakers/sports cards, lawyer TV shows, wearing bandanas, and all-inclusive vacations. Tommy is also very involved in giving back to his hometown community by sponsoring various youth sports teams and charitable fishing rodeos.  He also considers himself an “expert fisherman in training” and often travels back home for fishing trips with friends, family, and rodeos with his #ReelAmerican fishing "team" during time away from the office.  To him, the only feeling better than getting his clients their deserved settlement is putting a limit of fish in the boat on those few well-deserved days off from work.
